Social Media Policy

Hey everyone! On this page, I will discuss my social media’s Do’s and Don’t. These will be guidelines for my viewers to follow to ensure that this page remains a transparent, honest, and safe space.

Social Media Do’s

When going through my site and blog posts, I encourage you to actively engage in the content. What that would look like is to comment on the blog posts and create conversations in the comment sections. By actively engaging, we can give this blog a sense of community where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts.

I would also like to see this community engaging on different social media platforms. For example, viewers can reach me on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, where we can continue the conversation.

This is what I encourage on my platform:

1. Be Respectful: Encourage respectful and polite interactions.
2. Stay on Topic: This will allow for a smooth sailing discussion.
3. Be Mindful of Others: Think before you comment. Will what you say offend someone?
4. Report Inappropriate Comments: As we build this community, we must work together to report any comments that violate the rules.

Last Chance for Wildlife: Guidelines

1. No Spam: Any spam or promotional comments, including self-promotion or unrelated links, are prohibited.
2. Avoid Profanity: If there is profanity in comments, it will be removed.
3. No Hate Speech: Hate speech, racism, sexism, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.
4. No Trolling: Intentionally provocative comments to disrupt discussions will not be tolerated.
5. No False Information: Commenters are not to spread false or misleading information.
6. No Harassment: Stalking, online bullying or any other form of harassment will not be tolerated.
7. No Personal Attacks: We forbid personal attacks on other commenters or the author.

With these rules set in place, it will foster a healthy and respectful comment section that benefits both myself and my audience. Comments will be monitored regularly to ensure the rules are being followed.

Schedule

I will be notifying viewers on all three platforms when new blog posts will be published and when I will be actively responding to comments to have conversations in real-time.

New blog posts will be uploaded every Wednesday beginning November 8th, 2023. There will be one post per week. You can expect to see the blog post advertised on Thursdays on my Twitter, Fridays on my Instagram, and Saturdays on my Pinterest.

I will be online and responding to comments on Mondays regularly up until 9 p.m. EST.
